Notorious Legends:

Terrorist of the Prohibition Era!
Symbol of the collapse of law and order in the United States during the 1920s.

Dracula! Vlad the Impaler...15th century Romanian Prince.

Mythical Legends:

Legendary hero of lumber camps of the American Northwest, Paul Bunyan was intimated to have created Puget Sound, the Grand Canyon, and the Black Hills, and Babe could haul an entire forest at one time..

The most popular of Greek heroes, Hercules (sometimes called "Herakles") was celebrated in stories, sculptures, paintings, and even in the geography of the ancient world.

King Arthur is the figure at the heart of the Arthurian legends. He is said to be the son of Uther Pendragon and Ygraine of Cornwall. Arthur is a near mythic figure in Celtic stories such as Culhwch and Olwen.

The King of Thieves! He "robbed from the rich, and gave to the poor".

Entertainer-"America's #1 GI in greasepaint", entertained troops, throughout WWII, all his ('cept 2) radio shows were performed and aired from military bases. He first appeared on the Broadway stage in 1927 and on radio in 1935. "Road Pctures"--with Bing Crosby-- made him famous. He went on to appear in over 60 films.


Urban Legends:
*alligators in the New York City sewer system.
They were allegedly bought as pets when they were very
small and flushed down toilets when they grew too
large. They allegedly grew to full size in the sewers.
*A tooth left in a glass of Coca-Cola will dissolve overnight.

I could've listed hundreds of legends! Loch Ness Monster, Custer, Sitting Bull, Geronimo, Bigfoot to name just a few. The ones listed above just popped in my head, so I showcased them here. Maybe as my site progresses I'll continue to add here.

Now you're probably wondering..."what is all this Legend talk about?"
Well, I'm pleased to tell you...I am a "Legend"! *grin*
Naw...not famous, just honored to be among D'Erins "Wild Ones"!

I'm a Spirit for D'Realm of D'Spirit, and I was assigned...a few years ago to ES Gleaming Bright's Legend Spirits! =)

Well...D'Erin, D'Speedy, D'Siamese Kitty and I formed a little Trivia Team one year! We had a blast! =)
